Stock Control

The Nasdaq is a basket, and not every stock carries the same weight. Stock Control breaks the index move down into the weighted contribution of each relevant component — so a rally pulled by a single name is not mistaken for broad strength.

The table shows what each stock has done since the open, its relative position and the quality of that participation. That is what lets you say whether the index is being carried or pushed.
