Research that
became a product.

Miura did not start as a website with a subscription plan. It started as applied research in market data science, tape reading, order flow and microstructure — and the product is what survived that research.

Disciplines

Where the reading comes from.

  • Market data science

Capture, normalisation and consistency checks before any interpretation. Without that base, everything else is well-presented noise.

  • Tape reading and microstructure

The study of how orders arrive, who aggresses, who absorbs and what is left afterwards. The hardest layer to translate, and the one that most differentiates the product.

  • Structure and context

Volume profile, VWAP, session levels, and the macro scenario that defines the environment those levels are being traded in.

  • Information design

Measuring well is not enough if the reading does not fit on screen. Much of the work is deciding what to show first and what to keep one click away.

Technology

Our own data, not someone else’s reading.

Capture and processing run in an internal research core, kept separate from the commercial product. It is not sold, not exposed to users and has no interface: it exists so the platform works with its own data instead of repeating another tool’s interpretation.

The commercial product is Miura Intelligence: the layer that presents that data in a usable form. Automated products, such as Miura Quant, are a separate and future line, and are not part of what is offered today.

Principles

How we decide what ships.

  1. 01

If it cannot be measured, it is not a reading

No conclusion is presented without a number behind it.

  2. 02

    Unknown is a valid state

When data does not exist, the screen says so. We do not fill gaps with estimates.

  3. 03

    Synthesis does not replace evidence

Every consolidated reading opens into the data that formed it.

  4. 04

Nothing is announced before it exists

The stage of each tool is signposted on the site and in the product.
